FINANCE MANAGER

Job Purpose
Manage ETC's financial and accounting functions effectively to supports Company's business goals and strategies as well as IT Department functions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the Finance team of the company, review monthly accounting and management reports (with performance analysis) and ensure all reports are prepared on a timely basis.
Ensure proper preparation of financial statements (including consolidated financial statements) in compliance with local accounting standards and proper preparation and disclosure in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) to meet ETC group requirements.
Ensure the internal policies and procedures of Group of Companies are properly set up and maintain an internal control system to ensure the controls activities are implemented properly and in compliance with ETC framework.
Review monthly cash flows with key indicators, indicating the current and long term commitment/expenditure. Ensure the company has healthy cash flow position and credit facilities to support the operations and investments. Optimize the fund utilization in the Group of Companies that meets the requirement of the operation with minimum cost of fund used.
Analyze current and future business activities, potential growth and market opportunities to support management to determine best strategic business plan that will bring financial efficiency to the company.
Oversee yearly budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections and long term strategic planning preparation processes with management in line with current business and market direction as well as ETC's business strategic direction.
Communicate with banks, consultants, legal advisor, tax agent, internal and external auditors and relevant government bodies.
Ensure accurate tax calculation, timely tax return submission and compliance in all aspects of the tax requirement including transfer pricing principle.
Support project team in tenders and due diligence processes. Support the project and operation team with knowledge in all internal control and financial aspects.
Supervise the corporate secretarial services provided by the company secretary and coordinate the circulation of board minutes and resolutions.
Assist MD and Directors in any special finance related assignment in the Companies or Group of Companies as required.
Requirements
Qualification & Experiences
At least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/MIA)
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge in group consolidation and familiar with MFRS and recent development of MFRS.
Confident and good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and result oriented.
Ability to work in fast pace environment, ability to be multitasked and meet tight deadlines.
