GROUP HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

HUMAN RESOURCE | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Purpose

To provides strategic leadership, directions and oversight of the Human Resource functions across all companies within the KJTS Group including subsidiaries at both local and regional levels.

Key Responsibilities

HR Management / Administration Management / Information Technology (IT) Management
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the Groups goals.
  • Oversee HR operations across all regional subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with laws and group standards.
  • Work with senior leadership on key HR matters like organizational structure, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Lead HR integration for newly acquired companies to ensure alignment with group culture and policies.
  • Manage HR legal matters including compliance and dispute resolution.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g turnover, absenteeism) to support management decisions.
  • Drive change management to build a positive work culture.
  • Lead group-wide recruitment, job grading and workforce planning.
  • Manage hiring and onboarding for senior roles.
  • Advise on industrial and employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair handling of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and ethical practices.
  • Align HR practices with ESG commitments and listing requirements.
  • Perform other HR related task as assigned.
  • Set up group wide policies to streamline administrative processes.
  • Develop IT governance policies aligned with business and security needs.
  • Oversee digital transformation, especially cloud based HR/ admin system to streamline operations across subsidiaries.
  • Provide strategic advice on IT innovations and automation to boost productivity.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or any related field
  • Master Degree or HR Certification is an added advantage
  • At least 10-12 years of HR Experience with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial position overseeing HR operations at local and regional level.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Solid understanding of Malaysian labour laws and basic knowledge of international HR regulations.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and decision making skills for managing team across regions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in multicultural environments.
  • Skilled in HR analytics, workforce planning, and data driven decision making.
  • Experience in leading change and building a positive, inclusive work culture.
  • Good knowledge of administrative and IT operations to support group wide efficiency.
  • Understanding of expatriate process, including visas, relocation and cultural support.
  • Knowledge of ESG in HR and how HR supports public company governance.
  • Willing to travel locally and regionally as required.
