Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the tendering and procurement process related to HVAC systems and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze HVAC project tender documents, technical specifications and BOQs.
• Prepare competitive bids, including technical and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with HVAC design, estimation, and project execution teams for accurate tender submissions.
• Prepare and submit pre qualification documents, EOIs and RFP responses.
• Communicate with clients, consultants and subcontractors for clarifications and updates during the bidding process.
• Track tender opportunities and manage bid submission schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for HVAC equipment
• Request and analyze quotations for pricing, lead time, warranty and compliance with specifications.
• Negotiate terms and issue purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery in accordance with project timelines.
• Coordinate with site teams to align procurement schedules with installation needs.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for project tracking and audits.

Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement and tendering

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, technical specifications and installation.
• Familiarity with HVAC vendors, local and international supplier and souring channels.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
