Job Purpose

Assist the Operation & Maintenance Engineer in M&E and non M&E activities to prevent any mishaps from happening which could affect the daily operation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to ensure smooth operation on all M&E equipment.
• Prevent breakdowns by carrying out routine maintenance service and preventive monitoring on equipment as schedules.
• Assist O&M Supervisor  on tenant / client complaints. Attend to customer complaint within 15 minutes.
• Attend to special projects assigned by customer.
• Regularly assist to monitor all sub-contractors task.
• Assist Chargeman on HT/LV servicing.
• Trouble shoot works on all M&E defective components.
• Maintain tools and instruments in good order.
• Conduct daily and weekly inspection of all M&E installation.
• Document and maintain records of all service
• Operate and maintain on all related equipment, including fire system, facility systems, water systems, waste water systems, sewage and drainage systems, domestic and sanitary system, cleaning lubricants for pumps, clean strainers and measuring air-flow and make sure all the above systems are within the expected range.
• Assist O&M Engineer on data collection (auditing) of various systems for energy optimizing purposes.
• Carry out any other assignment as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Possess Professional Certificate or;
• Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in related field, preferable in HVAC

Knowledge and Skills required

• Understanding of O&M standard practice.
• Able to interact well with personnel at all level within the organization, supplier, sub contractor, client/customer etc.
• Ability to read / write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Demonstrate responsible behavior.
