KJTS Group Berhad (“KJTS”) continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of Cooling Energy Management solutions with a new savings sharing agreement secured through its subsidiary, iHandal Green Assets Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The latest agreement with Flexitech Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Top Glove Corporation Bhd, will see the deployment of KJTS Heatfuse Heat Recovery Solutions at a manufacturing facility in Banting.
The Heatfuse system is designed to recover waste heat generated during industrial operations and convert it into hot water for process heating applications. Instead of allowing valuable energy to be released into the environment, the recovered heat is reused, reducing energy consumption, operating costs, and carbon emissions.
This project is part of a broader collaboration between KJTS and Top Glove. Together with two existing savings sharing agreements involving manufacturing plants in Klang, the three projects deliver combined guaranteed annual energy savings of more than RM8.1 million.
Under the savings sharing model, KJTS undertakes the design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the Heatfuse system while the customer shares a portion of the verified energy savings achieved throughout the contract period. This approach enables manufacturers to implement energy efficiency improvements without significant upfront investment.
Each agreement has a contract tenure of 10 years from installation completion, creating long-term value for both parties while supporting operational efficiency and sustainability objectives.
As industries continue to seek practical ways to reduce energy costs and improve environmental performance, KJTS remains committed to delivering innovative solutions that help businesses maximise energy efficiency and accelerate their transition towards more sustainable operations.
