KJTS Group recently participated in the Build4Asia conference in Hong Kong. Adrian Lim (COO, Projects) represented the group during a panel discussion titled ‘Building Hong Kong’s Energy Future with District Cooling’. The session brought together industry experts to examine the integration of District Cooling Systems (DCS) into modern urban landscapes.
The dialogue focused on balancing rapid urban growth with critical sustainability targets. Participants explored how DCS improves energy efficiency and urban resilience. A key highlight was the synergy between district cooling, smart city planning, and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) models. These elements are vital for developing sustainable cities.
Future progress depends on collaboration. Governments, developers, and technology providers must work together to adopt sustainable infrastructure. We thank Adrian for sharing our regional expertise on this platform. We also thank Peter Lundberg of the Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) for the invitation. KJTS Group remains committed to driving energy efficiency across the region.
