Legal & Compliance Deparment

Job Purpose

Provide operational legal, documentation and compliance support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration & Documentation
    Maintain and manage contract records, including tracking expiries, renewals, and compliance requirements.
  • Filing & Record Keeping
    Ensure accurate filing and organization of legal and compliance documents, including preparing documentation for audits and indexing correspondence and submissions.
  • Coordination & Administrative Support
    Provide administrative support by coordinating meetings, scheduling reviews, and assisting with internal legal awareness activities.
  • Regulatory Research Assistance
    Support the team by conducting preliminary legal research and preparing summaries of regulatory updates for review.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of relevant experience is an added advantage

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Basic knowledge of legal principles, contract law, and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with legal documentation, filing, and research
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good command of written and spoken English (Malay is an added advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
