Energy Audit

Job Purpose

Plan and perform energy audit to evaluate energy usage and propose recommendation for energy conversion measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits of buildings, industrial facilities and infrastructure to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
  • Utilize specialized equipment and software to measure, analyze and interpret electrical systems including lighting, HVAC, motors and controls.
  • Assess energy consumption patterns, identify areas of waste or inefficiency and recommend solutions for optimization.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to develop tailored energy conservation measure (ECMs) and strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings, energy saving recommendations and estimated cost savings.
  • Assist in the implementation and verification of energy efficiency projects, including monitoring and measuring energy performance post implementation.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients regarding energy management, conservation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in energy auditing and related areas.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, utilities and incentives programs to leverage available resources and incentives for energy efficiency projects.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Carry out energy audit/assessment to evaluate the condition and performance of job sites.
  • Generate documents and reports as required.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering and equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 year working experience in HVAC field is a must.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Technical and report writing skills is a must.
  • Good fundamental Engineering knowledge in HVAC system.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, energy efficiency principles and building codes/regulations.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, energy management system (EMS) and building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Autocad & Revit MEP.
