Three chillers were non operational and the remaining plant equipment had constant breakdowns. The chiller plant could not meet load requirements due to insufficient capacity, ageing equipment, and limited support for proper O&M.
KJTS carried out a technical audit of the ACMV system. Findings showed an aged air-cooled plant running at poor efficiency. The proposed upgrade included a new energy efficient water-cooled chiller plant equipped with advanced monitoring and control systems.
The ROT solution guarantees 55 percent reduction in the TNB bill. Environmental impact equals 11,316 trees or 226 acres of forest.
